Katelyn Marie
Founder/ Principal Interior Designer
As an artist at heart, Katelyn began her design career at Kansas State University studying Apparel & Textile Design, and Apparel Marketing & Merchandising. After college was over, she took the leap of faith in 2018 to start her new journey in Annapolis, Maryland with no job in the pipeline, no family in the area, and no full reason to move. Just a passion for design and desire to be on the East coast.
Katelyn got a job as an interior designer and the rest was history. At that moment, she knew exactly what she was meant to do with her life. In 2022, she launched her full-service interior design firm, Katelyn Marie Designs, and began taking on clients of her own.
As Principal Designer, Katelyn oversees all design projects to ensure they are a reflection of the client while incorporating the Katelyn Marie Designs aesthetic. Katelyn's strengths lie in her endless ideas & inspiration, relentless work ethic, unwavering vision, and great sense of humor, which, luckily for everyone she works with, is infectious. She continues to refine her talents while developing her signature fresh, timeless look.

One of the privileges of being a successful business is having the opportunity to give back. At Katelyn Marie Designs, we believe that giving back plays a key role in shaping our culture and the way we conduct our business. That's why we regularly donate to the Alzheimer's Association. We love participating at the Walk to End Alzheimer's every year with our loved ones. During the month of June, 10% of all earnings will be given to the Association for funding of Alzheimer's care, support, and research.
Katelyn Marie Design's loves supporting local businesses and the local community. We believe that by supporting our neighbors we can have a better community and society. We commit both time and money to slowly but surely make a difference in the world.
